In a part of the world where large-format department stores are rare, Multiplaza Pacific provides an innovative adaptation of the traditional shopping center diagram. Instead of the dumbbell-shaped corridors crowned with large anchors found in North American models, this 1.1 million-SF center in Panama is configured like a pinwheel with engaging clusters of mini-anchors.

Paseo Morelia
This mixed-use development, located 200 miles northwest of Mexico City, consists of an open-air lifestyle center and residential on a 20-hectare site within the flat highland terrain. The master plan takes full advantage of the stunning views from the cliffs with hotels, a ballroom, a chapel, and several plazas overlooking the city.

Grace Bay Club
Departing from the colonial style and pastel hues that typically define Caribbean architecture, the Grace Bay Club aims sets itself apart from other resorts on the Turks and Caicos Islands. Situated along a lush expanse of white sand beach, the villas use a sophisticated and understated design approach that incorporates the lush surrounding landscape.

Club Industrial
The mountainous locale of Monterrey, Mexico, provides the site for a building that houses Club Industrial’s exclusive meeting spaces. Taking cues from the landscape, RTKL designed the facilities, offering a variety of meeting and dining options for public and private functions—and exciting panoramic views of the mountains and cities.

Plaza Las Americas
The dominant shopping center in Puerto Rico needed to remain relevant to attract new shoppers and tenants. RTKL provided the center’s most recent renovation, creating a circular navigation and more open vaulted ceilings. Additionally, a layer of environmental graphic design blending sculptures, paving, and other decorative features reinforces identity and celebrates climate, culture and heritage.
