This addition on the campus of the Food and Drug Administration’s headquarters creates a convenient child care option for FDA workers. Designed to meet LEED Silver standards, the facility incorporates a range of sustainable features, including a green roof, extensive natural day-lighting, geothermal energy sources, and stormwater management systems. The center provides a stimulating environment for the children while teaching environmental stewardship.
